A message from BLACK FOREST HILLS ELEMENTARY

Hello BFH Families,
We are quickly approaching the end of the school year and have begun planning for the 2018-2019 school year. If you will be moving or are planning to attend another school for the 2018-2019 school year, please let us know as soon as possible. All exiting students must complete a withdrawal form and return it to the BFHE front office. We have attached the form to this email but will also have them available at the office. If you will be attending Altitude Elementary there is no need to contact the office or do any additional paperwork.

When: May 12th at 9:00am

Where: Black Forest Hills Elementary

Meet on the Black Forest Hills field at 8:45 for a warm up with the staff of Barre Beauty and then head out for your 5k run or 1 mile walk.  Finish up the race in the Black Forest Hills parking lot and enjoy a yummy complimentary breakfast.  We can't wait to see you there!!

Tayler is a student at Fox Ridge Middle School and has brothers at Black Forest Hills. In January Tayler started having severe jaw pain, and after consulting her oncologist, an MRI was conducted. They located a malignant tumor in her jaw, and determined it was a bone cancer called osteosarcoma. The tumor is isolated and Tayler has had two surgeries to remove the tumor. She has begun a regimen which will include both in-patient chemo treatments, blood transfusions, and rest weeks. These treatments will continue for 9-12 months. We are doing this 5k to honor Tayler, the warrior, and raise money to help with the family's medical bills. Thank you so much for your support!
Thank you to our sponsors:
